About the Blog

The summer of 2010 was the summer that God awakened my heart and gave me a passion I never knew I had. He opened up my eyes to a hurting world out there, a world that He can use me in. I went on my first mission trip to Costa Rica that summer, and it was there that He began stirring my heart for something greater to come. In six weeks, I will boarding a plane to go on my second mission trip to Belize. I have a strong suspicion this will not be the last time God asks something so daring of me.

 I want to be able to share these adventures and stories with anyone interested, and that's why I've created this blog. I kept a journal while in Costa Rica and ended up writing around 50 pages there. I've decided that I'd finally tackle a task I've been wanting to do for quite a while and type out my entire journal, complete with pictures from the trip. I hope that maybe when you read the stories, God will also give you a passion. But beware; once the passion is awakened, God might ask you to do something crazy..like, fall in love with Him :)
